What are the access requirements for you trucks?
Our trucks require the following clearances, 3.5m high, 2.6m wide at the wheels, 3.0m wide at the mirrors. Our trucks are 9.0m long and we require 7.5m clearance from power lines, trees, buildings etc when tipping. For safety we require a stable, level area to tip the load. Our experienced drivers will try to accommodate your requests, however they have the final say on where the load is tipped.
Will you deliver the product where I need it?
To the best of our ability we will deliver the product to where you need it. However, due to access and safety considerations, we may not be able to. We need to get off your site as well as in so we will not want to drive on soft ground. We will not risk damage to our drivers, trucks or your property. If we are not able to tip the product where you would like, our experienced driver will work with you to find a solution. Please also see our access requirements.
How much is the delivery charge?
We will quote you a delivered price for the material, the delivery is included.
How can I pay for my delivery?
You can pay by credit card or cash, however our drivers don’t carry change.
What areas do you deliver to?
We regularly deliver to customers in the Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redland, Scenic Rim and Gold Coast local government areas. The picture below shows where our trucks where on one day in March. If you are outside these areas please contact us and we will try and help you.
When do you deliver products?
We schedule deliveries from 6:30am (we don’t want to upset your neighbors) till 6:00pm on weekdays and 6:30am till 1:00pm on Saturdays.
What is the minimum quantity of product that I can order?
1m3 is the minimum delivery volume. It may be delivered in a 10m3 truck so our access requirements are still important.
What is the maximum quantity delivered per load?
For aggregates, sand and soils we can deliver 10m3 of product. 12M3 of mulch. If you need more than this please give us a call and we will discuss your requirements.
Can I pick material up my self?
No, we only deliver product, you are not able to collect it.
Can you remove material for me?
We would be happy to organise a quote for removal of material from your site. Please contact us.
Can you spread the product for me?
Yes we can, please contact us to discuss your project
Can I cancel my product order?
Yes, you can cancel your order at any time, however, once the truck is loaded we may not be able to provide you with a refund and we may need to charge you an additional disposal fee. If you need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible
Can I get a refund?
If you are not happy with the product or our service please <a href=”https://rockhammerearthmoving.com.au/contact/”>contact</a> us and we will work with you to resolve any issues. If you have any questions please discuss them with us when placing your order.
Do I need to be there for the delivery?
It is always better if you are. If you are not going to be there our driver will call you on arrival to discuss where your product is going to be tipped. As described in our Delivery Policy you are deemed to have accepted the product and where it has been tipped in your absence.
Will I be charged for travel time when hiring plant or trucks?
Yes, travel is charged at at least one (1) hour for plant and trucks. If carrying over plant hire to the next day, travel is reduced.
Is there a minimum hire for plant and trucks?
Yes, there is a three (3) hour minimum hire for plant and trucks.
Can I cancel plant or truck hire?
Yes, you may. However if you cancel less than one (1) hour before the scheduled start time you will be charged the minimum hire of three (3) hours.
